I'm a senior in college getting ready to graduate and the author is also in college so a lot of the stories and life lessons in this book were relatable and can be applied to my life as well. The book is also a good read and gave me a few laughs while also teaching me to chase my dreams.

I have read and enjoyed many self-help books. Sumlin's book Dealing with This Thing Called Life is another I can add to my list. He reflected back on life stories that are personal and relatable. His simplicity yet powerful writing draws you in and before you know it you feel like you are with the author at a coffee shop listening to his stories. I am encouraged, empowered, and motivated by his book. Easy read. I was able to finish in one sitting but I know I will be able to refer back to remind me of the pearls of wisdom found in his book.
