5 Times Beyoncé Practiced the Idea Of Manifestation

One common thread in all of my work is the idea of manifestation. Every chance I get, I try to remind everyone I encounter about how powerful each and everyone one of us are. I honestly believe that all of us have the power to change our lives by the thoughts we entertain, the words that come from those thoughts and the actions that manifest these ideas. When I wanted to publish a book last Fall I thought that it was possible, I told myself out loud that I could then I took the necessary actions to make it happen. If there is one thing I know for sure, it is the power of manifestation.

I have learned the idea of manifestation for as long as I can remember. In church, I would hear  “The tongue has the power of life and death,  and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 NIV. I often listen to Oprah who says, “If you can see it, and believe it, it makes it that much easier to achieve it.” Everywhere I turn I learn the idea of speaking positively and believing that anything is possible. I think that this idea of manifestation is one that everyone should learn and practice.

One superstar who practices the idea of manifestation is Beyoncé. As many of you who read my blogs and follow me online know, I’m a huge Beyoncé fan. I deeply admire her work ethic, belief in herself and work. Last Saturday morning I was watching Beyoncé interviews on YouTube and learned that Beyoncé practices the idea of manifestation. All of Beyoncé’s biggest moments and career achievements are moments that she spoke into existence long before they ever happened. I’d like to share these moments with you to inspire you, and teach you that the idea of manifestation works. With that said here are,

5 Times Beyoncé Practiced the Idea Of Manifestation

1. Parkwood Entertainment

In this video, a young Beyoncé was only 16 years ago. At around the 1:58 mark you hear Beyoncé say,

“I plan on….In the future, hopefully getting my record company and my own production company and manage like my dad.”

This was long before Blue Ivy, Jay Z and even “Crazy in Love”. No one could have predicted from that video that Beyoncé would become the megastar she is today, but she did. She believed that she would one day own her own company. In 2011, Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment, a production company that manages Beyoncé and artists that are signed to her label. It was under the Parkwood Entertainment umbrella that Beyoncé released her albums: 4, BEYONCE and Lemonade.

Parkwood also manages the sensational, young duo, Chloe x Halle. I’ve been sending my resume to Parkwood since my freshman year at Morehouse. This company is a powerhouse and one that will be around for a long time. Excellent work Beyoncé , you knew at the age of 16 that Parkwood Entertainment was going to happen.

2. Survivor

In 2001 after a slew of turmoil and triumphs Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child released their song, Survivor. In the second verse of the song, Beyoncé sings,

“Thought that I would self-destruct  But I’m still here Even in my years to come I’m still gon be here”.

During the early 2000s, there were so many R&B and Pop artists that were out. Many have faded away and don’t make music anymore. Today, Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child are still artists that are relevant and make great music. I’m sure it took a lot of confidence to write those lyrics, but those lyrics were not only a song but a prophecy. Beyoncé spoke that years to come she would still be here, and she is.

3. The Superbowl Half-Time Show

Back in 2010 Beyoncé had an interview with Hannah Storm for ESPN. The intention of the interview was to discuss Beyoncé’s year long tour and plans for the future. Hannah Storm and Beyoncé conversed about many things, but one question set the goal for another one of Beyonce’s biggest moments.  In this interview, Hannah Storm asked Beyoncé what would be her version of winning a Superbowl.
“I guess probably performing at the Superbowl Halftime; that would be great.”

Beyoncé confidently said that to the interviewer because she knew that she had what it took to headline the Superbowl.

In 2013, this idea came to life when Beyoncé performed during the Superbowl Halftime Show creating one of the most iconic performances of her career.

4. The Visual Album

In December 2013, Beyoncé released her highest selling album, BEYONCE. This album featured great songs like “XO,” “Drunk In Love” and one of my favorite Beyoncé songs, “Jealous.” The visual album consisted of fourteen visuals and fourteen songs. In a behind-the-scenes video of Beyoncé discussing the creation of this album she said she faced opposition from her team when she decided she wanted to create a full visual album. At around 2:43 mark in the video entitled, “Self-Titled”: Part 1. The Visual Album”
Beyoncé says,“I told my team I want to shoot a video for every song and put them all out at the same time. Everyone thought I was crazy but we’re actually doing it, it’s happening.”

She had the idea in her head, told her team that it was possible and took the necessary steps to make it happen. This is the concept of manifestation practiced correctly.

5. Skydiving

Back in 2006 during the fourth season of the Ellen Degeneres Show, Ellen sat down with Beyoncé and asked her what is on her bucket list. One thing that Beyoncé said was on her bucket list was the idea of skydiving. At the 1:27 mark in the video Beyonce humbly says, “I’d like to learn how to skydive.” Instead of Ellen supporting Beyoncé and saying that she thought it was cool.

Ellen discussed how she used to want to skydive but she gave up on that idea and said Beyonce might do the same.  Fortunately, seven years later Beyoncé  visited the New Zealand Sky Tower and jumped nearly 192 meters above Auckland. This goes to show that even when people may discredit and doubt your ideas that you can still manifest them and make them happen.

I hope you find these clips and stories inspiring. Beyoncé is the biggest star in the world right now and I’m sure she got there because of her ability to manifest her ideas. Now that you know and understand the idea of manifestation how will you use it in your life? You completely have the power to manifest whatever you desire in your life. I know that you will manifest some tremendous things, keep me posted and Good Luck!
